Numerical Study on Pile Group Effect and Carrying Capacity of Four-Barreled Suction Pile Foundation under V-H-M Combined Loading Conditions

Multi-barreled composite foundations are generally used in offshore oil platform structure. However, there is still a lack of theoretical analyses and experimental research. This paper presents the results three-dimensional finite element analysis four-barreled suction pile foundation heterogeneous clay foundation. The group effect carrying capacity numerically simulated. effects different embedment depths, spacings non-uniformity coefficients on studied. Considering changes under vertical, horizontal bending moment coupling loads, envelopes (H-M) (V-H-M) loading modes drawn. show that spacing depth have great influence effect. bearing envelope V-H-M mode greatly affected by vertical load V. can provide reference for selection embedded practical engineering design. Furthermore, stability be evaluated according to relative relationship between design failure envelope.
